Today I am filming a music video on the hills of Idar. Idar is a small town located in Gujarat (India). Idar is surrounded by the mountains. This maountains are the range of mountains called Aravalli. Idar is at the southern end of the Aravalli Range. The Aravalli Range literally meaning 'line of peaks', is a range of mountains in western India and eastern Pakistan running approximately 800 km from northeast to southwest across states of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Gujarat and Pakistani provinces of Punjab and Sindh. It is also called Mewat hills locally. It is located about 30 km north of Himatnagar and 60 km from Gujarat's border with Rajasthan. It is known for the manufacture of handmade wooden toys, tiles, its temples and various beautiful architectural monuments on hill, and its historical background.

Idar is 100 km from Ahmedabad. There are many ancient things in Idar like, King Palace, Jain Temples, Ruthi Rani Mahal, Tower, Khradi bazar, Rajchandra Vihar, Khokhanath Mahadev, Swaminarayan Temple, Kainath Mahadev, Ranmal Chowki, Jal Mandir, etc.

Today I will be performing MIME along with students of Oscar academy of film and TV. 7:00pm Tagore Hall, Paldi Ahmedabad. Entry open for all. 

What a feeling! I am back to the stage where I grew up and performed for years. It is Diwan Ballubhai school, Paldi. My school. I am appointed to direct a play for a competition, It's been a week since we started rehearsing and I am feeling great working with students of the same school where i once studied. we will be performing this play at Darpana Acamedy of Performing Arts by the end of this month. those who are interested to watch the play, can buy the tickets from darpana or else contact me.

The first camera that I received was Sony DCR-HC21E. It’s a compact mini DV digital camcorder with carl zeiss lens. This camera enamored me, as it was the only film camera that I owned for years. I did all kinds of experiments with it. I quickly realized that I was taking better videos with it. I was firing off random frames just to see how they would turn out on the screen. I was now in full control of the photographic process. I knew how to shoot cinematic videos. I was metering every shot exactly how I wanted with careful composition. This was the point when I got hooked.
